I witnessed my father extend a hand to my mother as long as I can remember. Even toward the end when he was not feeling well, he held her hand. He held ours too, his children. When my father held your hand you could feel his commitment and dedication. It was full of love and sentiment, unconditional and hugely impactful. Do you miss holding hands?
