I'm a child of the 60s so I've always danced to rock and roll but never learned to "really dance." Corinne has had the patience and enthusiasm to help me "dance with direction and intent" and have a great time in the process. Being a beginner is awkward enough; Corinne guides me through the missteps, out of balance, confused and embarrassed moments with joy and encouragement. She consistently offers imagery and analogies which make complete sense and provide "hand-holds" to my progress. Learning to dance has become an exciting and confidence-building new chapter in my life. Her joy is infectious. Dancing revives the human spirit and is a universal language for our souls. Corinne is the perfect guide and co-traveler on this journey we call life. -Jayme Barr-Nobles
Corinne's barre class had been immensely beneficial for me. I have always focused on aerobic activities and ignored body posture and balance. My balance has improved significantly with regular attendance at her classes. The class has good music and moves along. Corinne is a super nice person and offers up good suggestions, without being an ogre!! -Beth Morris
For the past six+ months, I've been taking private dance lessons from Ms. Rungo, and have also attended a few of her socials. I've THROUGHLY found her classes to be enjoyable, and I look forward to taking them each and every chance that I get.
Taking dance lessons has been on my "Wish List" for quite awhile. Ms. Rungo makes taking dance lessons not only fun and exciting but they also give me an opportunity to get some great exercise. She always has a smile on her face, and makes me, and all of her students feel comfortable, and important. Ms. Rungo makes taking dance lessons almost magical at times.
As a result of taking her dance lessons with all of the body movement needed, I've found that my golf game has improved tremendously. Turning my body left and right, sliding on my toes, using rhythm while dancing has made my golf swing better, quicker, and smoother.
To borrow a quote from S. Paige,

I have been taking your dance and barre classes for over a year now. It has made a big difference in my life. Since I did have dancing lessons before I really am so glad it is a part of my life again. The barre classes have actually increased my abilities as far as making me physically stronger, more balanced and standing up taller - better posture. You are a great instructor and take the time to make sure that every person in the class is benefitting from that class even with personal limitations to what they can do physically. The real plus is that I have a great time and the music and routines are anything but boring. I love them. It is my get away time for me and the dancing and the music - what more could I ask for? -Patty Howie
The best educators strive to create a positive learning environment, the most powerful tool of which is using only positive reinforcement. It puts their students in the optimum frame of mind to learn, excel and be passionate about their subject. This is Corinne's personal ethos regarding life as a whole, not just teaching. She has an amazing ability to put it into action in every class... and it works! I am soooo looking forward to the next one!! -Carol
I have always wanted to learn different types of dance & I finally found it taking Corinne's (Rungo Dance) classes. I've learned so much & still have more to learn, but that is the best thing about Corinne's dance classes you are always learning and she never gives up on you. She always makes you feel like you can do it and still have fun doing it. The best part of her style is you feel like a team not just a student. Thank you for all you do and all you have taught me. -Clair Stapleton
I started Corinne's Dance Fit Class about a year ago and had never had any lessons besides ballet as a child..
The ladies in her class were so encouraging and helpful to me as we did a show 2 months after I joined in !!! It has been the best thing I have ever done for myself as it has helped me sharpen my brain, tone my body (23 lbs now!!!), and I have built some great friendships.
Do You Dance or Breathe to Connect with Your Body? She is a step by step instructor that is very qualified to train you so you won't hurt yourself and has a true gift of redirecting your pathways of thinking... She helps you see the BIG PICTURE !!!!!
I now attend the Dance Fit Class her Yoga Class and the Barre Fit Class.... Best Money I could Ever Spend !!!!
Thank you Corinne... You are a truly dedicated professional !!! -Kayemarie Buckler
I really love Corinne's Barr class! She works us hard (I can see I am getting stronger) and then stretches us out. There is no flailing of the weights. It is very controlled so I don't worry about injuring myself. Every class is different and so is the music.
Corinne is happy, bubble person who is nice to greet first thing in the morning. -Sherry Sultenfuss
f you are really serious about learning to dance correctly, which is a great way to enjoy yourself, have fun, and socialize, I strongly recommend Corinne Rungo for your professional instructor.! She has the rare quality of enjoying her work, teaching, and it pleases her to see you progress. She also has the patience of Jobe, so don't worry if you think you have two left feet! She gives both group lessons and private lessons. Check her schedule at Rungo Dance, and join in her classes, and I am sure you will be very pleased, and really learn the correct way to dance, and truly enjoy it. -Howard Johnson
Corinne, you have such a unique and fun way to teach so many types of dance… and I love them all! You're a great teacher and make me enjoy "working out". As someone who works full time, goes to online school and tries to have some form of life, I always look forward to making my dance class with you! -Valerie
The Rungo System worked great for me. When we began, I honestly believed that I could never dance due to having two left feet and no rhythm. But your method, along with your patience and high tolerance for pain, now has me anxious to try out my new-found talent at a club.
Thanks, Corinne, for your help. I hope that I am as good at what I do for a living as you are. -Michael Walters
